Total Next is a very close replica to the NeXT OS, or OPENstep. I have worked long and hard on this scheme to give it an authentic look, although I've had to quess on some of the things. On the things where I've quessed, I've tryed to give them the NeXT style instead of my own style. If I mixed the two together there might be a clash in the different appearances. I feel this is one of the closest replicas yet, but of course everyone who has made a NeXT scheme says that. I feel it's one of the closest because I've added NeXT icons with the NeXT appearance instead of the appearance alone. Below I have included a list of the changes I've made since version 2.6 of this scheme. I hope you enjoy it and email me your comments if you're bored and have nothing else special in your life to do. This scheme if free unless you want to send me money for my work. Changes since version 2.6
- Experimenting with the look of the progress bar, I've changed it from rounded to more boxy.
-Put a full black border around the scroll arrows instead of just a partial border.
-When opening my FreePPP connection, I noticed a chunk missing in the black part of the status window. I fixed that.
-Changed the shading of the horizontal scroll box to match the shading of the horizontal scroll arrows.
-When I was looking at my preview on the Kaleidoscope web site I noticed that scroll box in the middle of the scroll bar. I don't know what that is but I changed it to match the normal scroll box.
I might have forgotten something but that's enough for now. In the future I plan to make a scheme called The Rob OS, which will have the appearance I would want in an OS.
